My DD was 10lbs 8 ozs so we couldn't use the NB stuff and the others were too big...AND we got overwhelmed. We decided after 2 days of cding to go with 7th gen diapers instead. I just didn't have time with a nb for all of that laundry. She's a super pooper! Oh well...too bad I spent so many hundreds.
I fully intended to CD but when DS was born I was way overwhelmed. ?We do it now and I find it super easy. ?Maybe you can try again when DCs older. ?Also, I know of some places that sell biodegradable diapers.

this is why we waited a month to start. i wanted time to adjust to being a mom! if you hold onto your stash a bit longer, you may change your mind.
Sorry it didn't work out for you. I would definitely recommend trying again in a few months. I've been CDing for about 2 months now and I find it to be really easy, but I can definitely see how it would be overwhelming with a newborn, especially if half of your stash ended up not working!

OMG! My DS and your DD were the same birthweight! I hope you got good drugs
Ha! Yes, good drugs, 2 ddays of labor and a c-section! The things we go through. we may try cding again down the road but for now I could sure use the $ if we aren't using them! At this rate I need to buy her convertible car seat!
