Poly Vi Sol Users

My pedi told me to give DS this vitamin, but he just hates the taste and when we put it in a bottle (breastmilk) he won't take the bottle. I'm not sure that he even needs the vitamin, but do any of you have any ideas about how to get him to take it?

    Our pedi recommended using Tri-Vi-Sol.  It's that nasty fake grape flavor, but DD loves it.  She always opens her mouth for more after the dropper is empty.

    Don't put it in the bottle, my son won't drink the bottle then.  We just squirt it in his mouth.  He spits some out but we know he drinks some.  My doctor said that some is better than none!

    I split it up into the bottles. 2 drops in each bottle. My pedi said this was fine as many babies don't like the taste.

    There is a product out there called MY KIDZ IRON that is a taste free, color free multi vitamin. It is usually right next to the poly vi sol.

    DD hates it. After one very sour face, DH and I decided to taste it and we have not given it to her since.
