ds stil hasn't rolled over yet...

 He can sit on his own now.. and he is really close to rolling over (darn hips).  I just feel strange going to his 6 month apt and saying nope; no rolling...

    DD still can't either...although she did a whole bunch of time around 4 months but hasn't since.  There's such a range with the milestones, don't worry about it!

    My niece didn't figure out rolling until she was 8.5 months.  She figured it out AFTER she started crawling.  I wouldn't worry about it!

    This is similar to DD.  She did roll belly to back early on but then quit doing it.  But didn't learn back to belly until after she started crawling at 8.5 months.

    i have the same issue. im not too worried about it. she can get to her side and  no further. she would rather sit up all day then roll, haha.

    DD is 6.5 months and has rolled over like 3x, but nothing consistent.  She would def rather sit up, or bear weight on her legs.

    My DS didnt figure out belly to back until a few days ago. I mentioned it at our 6 month appointment and my pedi shrugged and said "he'll get it, dont worry". My girlfriend's baby didnt roll until almost 9 months and crawled in the same week.

    DD rolled over 3 times at daycare, then once for us and hasn't ever done it again.  She prefers to sit up too.  I was a little worried about it but we went to the dr yesterday for her regular appt and I asked about it and they didn't seem too concerned.

    mine doesn't either, she has and can, but won't except to roll back to belly in the middle of the night and then wake up freaking out....the dr said at our 6 month app't that with the "back to sleep" compaign, it's no longer considered a milestone and not to worry

    Caroline didn't start rolling over until close to 7 months...now she rolls all over the house back & forward and crawls backwards so i wouldn't worry, it will come!!  (she was sitting up strong at 6 months too).
