This is being discussed on the 2nd Tri board. ?One gal recommended this baby food maker:?https://www.williams-sonoma.com/products/e203/index.cfm?pkey=xsrd0m1|16|||0|||||||baby&cm_src=SCH
Has anyone tried this out? ?I was just going to use my own equipment but this looks much easier to clean.?
Re: C&P Making Baby Food
Personally, I'd say it's a HUGE waste of money. It looks exactly like my Kitchenaid mini food processor which was 1/3 of the price. I have one similar to this: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=7865679&type=product&id=1142301234437&ref=06&loc=01&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=7865679
But personally for me, I liked to take a whole day and make like two months worth of stuff. So the mini processor wasn't kind of pain b/c I had to do it in such small batches. But my blender worked great! I usually had both of them going at once......carrots cooked and going in food processor, then sweet potatoes cooked being pureed in the blender, then two other things on the stove steaming so that I could rinse the blender and food processor real quick and make those.
Then I just froze in ice cube trays. Put in freezer for an hour or two and then popped into large ziplock baggies which I'd re-use.
I agree, it's a waste. Most people give babyfood for 6mo tops.
I stored mine in ziplocs. I never defrosted mine in advance because I'm a lousy planner. So I would nuke it in a glass bowl and then put it in a tupperware to take with me.
