She told us that she knew with certainty the sex of the baby. So not buying it. Maybe I am just cynical. I blame that on my first tri ladies

I think it's easier to tell if it's a boy than if it's a girl. Not to say that I would go buy a bunch of stuff...but if she told you it was a boy I'd be much more willing to believe her than if she said it was a girl.

She said it was a girl. Totally not buying it- but hell maybe she is right. 50/50 right???

She said it had to do with the measurements of the bottom and a bunch of other stuff. That part was 3D- so maybe.

Still not convinced. ?

Yes- but I sure didn't see anything that made me think it was a girl or a boy. You can't see anything on the 2D pictures.

I think she is smokin' something. Nick is convinced she is right. He said "she's the expert". UH Ok. ?

Our NT scan gender guess was right, and we're having a boy. ?I have several friends (some having boys, some having girls) that also had correct guesses. ?I wouldn't buy anything yet, but it's not impossible. ?Good luck either way!

Yeah that was the guess they gave me at my NT scan with Harmon... and trust me is perfectly fine and endowed male.

I was told at 13w3d at my NT scan that 70% I was having a girl. I didn't start purchasing, but was pretty convinced based on what the specialist said. I wanted to wait until the Big U/S to wait to start planning and purchasing. Sure enough, at 20 weeks, it was 99.9% confirmed it was a girl.

If they are very good, they can tell the difference in hip structure, etc. from what I've heard.

I didn't know that they even took at guess at the NT. I have mine on Monday so I'm getting excited about having a guess!!

They gave us a guess the other day. Everything I have read says at this stage of the game even little girls can appear to have something between their legs, so they have to look at the angle, bone structure, etc. as pps have said. So, I was hoping that was what she was going to do. But she just said, "Well this one has something between his legs here, see, so I'd say this one is definitely a boy. And this one appears to have something between its legs, so I'm guessing two boys." (Lord help me, three boys under two!) Anyway, I didn't think she was looking at enough different things to make me feel confident, so I'll still hold out some hope that one of them is a girl.

Honestly, I don't care as long as they are healthy, but oh my goodness, three boys under two!

I found out at my nt scan that ds was a boy, it was confirmed at 18 weeks. I also have 4 other friends/family members that also found out correctly at 12 weeks at the nt scan. It is possible!

That is exactly what she said! That is from the shape of the bottom, the measurements etc. So maybe she is right. She spent quite a bit of time in that "area". She even wrote "girl" on our paper. I guess we will see in 6 weeks. ?

I guess I was just surprised because I have heard boys being noticed early through NT, but not girls. I am glad to know that there have been others ?

From what I understand NT scans are more clear and yes you can tell at that age what the sex is. I found out at 13wks that I was having a girl, I didn't buy anything but it was definitely fun to see. So what is the sex?
