I've heard of women late in their pregnancy getting nausea or the return of morning sickness, but is a severe headache lasting days also common?
I started getting a headache about 2 or 3 days ago, followed by vomiting and now I've had nausea and an acute headache on the left side of my head since and it's so painful. Anyone else?
Re: Severe headache and nausea?
how is your bloodpressure? I had late-onset pre-eclampsia and I had those same symptoms....just wanted to let you know, be careful, and def. call the dr. or nurse just to check in w/ them, and let them know what's going on. they may want to see you just to make sure you're okay. good luck!
have some caffiene, put an ice pack on your head- and dark room.... if it doesn't start to go away- call your OB - severe onset migraine can be a sign of pre-E... your BP can change from week to week - and often Pre-E strikes later in pg. Better safe than sorry- but it's probably just a bad headache from hormones. I get migraines normally and had them HORRIBLE in my 1st tri.
feel better!
