Staten Island bumpies....

Do any of you really wish there was a better place to register on the island? Did anyone try target for their registry? I really hate Babiesrus.  I went there for numerous friends' gifts and THEY NEVER have anything in stock.  Then if you change things on your registry online, it doesn't show up in the store? wtf!

    I registered at BRU and Buy Buy baby. I love BBB, but it's in Manhattan. I think there's one in NJ and Queens too.

    SERIOUSLY!  BBB is soooo nice.  It's too long of a drive to register there (about 45 min from Goethals), but if you get the chance to go, it is gorgeous.  Wish we had something like that here.

    OMG I totally agree with you about Babies R Us! I recently switched my registry to Target and I am loving every minute of it! Target's website makes adding items to your registry unbelievably easy compared to B.R.U!  Plus it suggests items you may or may not have already chosen or thought of to add to your list! I wish there were more places for pregnant women on the island to register at that were as good as Target is!

    I just heard that Target has a crappy return policy though.... have you had any problems with it yet?

    I'm not sure about the return policy with the registry, but I went to return a gift w/o a receipt and they wouldn't take it.

    I definitely like BBB and there's one right by my Mom's house so I guess it's okay.  It does make it more difficult for people on the island to shop.
