I like the part at the end where Clariee tells Jackson the story about THe Evil Witch Weezer and then Weezer comes up and Jackson runs away after smacking her.

DH and his friends crack up at the funeral scene where M'Lynn freaks out. I think they are evil.

Having played Truvy in a live production of the play I can honestly say my favorite moment was the after death scene..the "brown football helmet" and the smack wheezer..we will sell tshirts "I slapped Wheezer"

I never had to fake the tears because it was such a powerful scene.

BTW..its a super PITA to actually FIX hair where it looks good and remember your lines at the same time.

My favorite line "He's so confused he doesn't know whether to scratch his watch or wind his butt!"

Best make me cry moment : "I find it amusing. Men are supposed to be made out of steel or something. I just sat there. I just held Shelby's hand. There was no noise, no tremble, just peace. Oh god. I realize as a woman how lucky I am. I was there when that wonderful creature drifted into my life and I was there when she drifted out. It was the most precious moment of my life."

DH & I just watched Steel Magnolias yesterday! My fav. line in the whole movie is when Quiser says "I'm not mean, I've just been in a bad mood for 40 years!" lol
