FFers...boil water first?

Just introduced formula today and wondering how many of you actually boil the water and let it cool before mixing it. ?If you do...how do you do it without it taking forever before each bottle...and to prepare to be gone. ?Do you just boil enough for the day and put it in the botttles so you can just add formula later? ?I couldn't imagine doing it for every single bottle. ?I'm thinking since we drink the water, it should be fine for DS.

Pedi said if you have well water to boil. If not then tap water is perfectly fine.

I use our PUR filter, fill the bottles for future use and by the time we use them they are room temp.

We just use filtered water from the fridge, I am pretty sure you do not need to boil water unless your DC immune system is compromised or you are unsure of your water supply.

I buy bottled water for DS and then heat it up in a different container in the microwave. If we are going out, I heat it up in a kettle, and then I put it in a thermos so that it will remain hot.

I boil a big pot and let it cool and then store it in a tupperware thing that I bought with a faucet.

Thanks! Those were my thoughts exactly. ?We do not have well water, and we have a purifier on the water that we get from the refrigerator door. ?My mom, who will keep him when I go back to work, does have well water, but I was already planning on sending gallon jugs of my water to her house anyway.

We have a water bubbler and use that water. I heat up the water in the microwave and then add the formula.

We did at first, but that got old very fast!

We actually just run our water through the Brita pitcher and use that.

My inlaws have well water and we dont even give it to the dog. Yuck.

w my 1st LO, I used the Brita filter. Now I'm lazy and just use ready-2-feed formula.
