WWYD re:travel system

We have a gender neutral Graco travel system-infant seat and stroller.  Well DD is too big for the infant seat and it is going into the attic for the next one.  But here's the question.  Do I put the stroller up there too and go buy a new stroller?  The stroller and DD get along swimmingly.  I'm more worried about the stroller getting destroyed and then not being able to get the stroller that matches the carseat for the next baby.

    IMO things are meant to be used and worn out...so why spend the money on a new one...You may even want to get a double stroller by the time DC#2 comes around anyway, so I would just keep using it.

    Wow! You really want to buy a new stroller so that with your next child, the stroller matches the car seat that you currently own?

    I'm not sure when you're planning on #2, but if you want them relatively close in age, you'll probably just want to buy a double stroller next time anyway.

    Why would you waste the money?  The stroller you have now is prefectly fine and like PP said when #2 comes along, you will probably want to get a double.

    If you like the stroller use it. For the next one you can get a double stroller and use the carseat again or find one that matches close enough. I actually use the stroller for big day trips and I have an umbrella stroller for quick trips.

    I think your husband would hate babies less if you didn't waste money on big ticket items like strollers just so your car seat and stroller would match next time.
