How often do you use oxi-clean on your diaps?

I use Charlie's Soap and in reading the GMD washing instructions it says to add oxi-clean baby to your diapers, but to not use it too much which can damage it.

How often is too often?

I'll be using GMD prefolds

I don't use it on my diapers at all. I think you don't have to.
