So, I just read your reply to my post about story time at the library (And thanks to those who suggested B&N - ours has an under 3 story time that I'm going to TRY on Monday! We'll see how it goes!)

Anyways!  Sometimes when you post about wiggly Noel and active Noel, I think we must have the same child.  We both get FRUSTRATED with diaper changes, and you talk about him not being interested in storytime because he's so active.  SO is Emilynn.  She will not sit still, although recently ONLY IF SHE'S TIRED, she'll bring me a book and sit in my lap.

I think they're similar in age, maybe its just the age??

    I was sure this was another bra post!

    I know our kiddos are like a month apart or something. Noel is 16.5 months at the moment. I do think part of it is the age but I also know that at the baby time - Noel was seriously the ONLY one running around not paying attention for awhile. It didn't help that most of the kids were only crawling since N walked so early but there was another girl who walked who would sit calmly in her moms lap like there was nothing more interesting then watching a stranger read The Very Hungry Caterpiller. I swear there's nothing worse than being in a room full of moms who just don't get it. I always felt like the parent who couldn't control their kid!

    Now at home Noel will sometimes be super into reading and bring me book after book and sit while I read them but only on his terms. He has to turn the pages and usually when I'm halfway through the first sentance so most books read like giberish!

    Yeah ... we only get through like 2 pages and then its onto something else.  But better then nothing, eh?!  LOL! 

    We'll see, we're going on Monday!  It may be a disaster, but at least we can leave I guess!

    It might not be a disaster. The one with older kids that I go to always has at least a couple other kids who are just wandering around like Noel. It still amazes me how many 1-2 year olds will just sit and listen to a stranger read a book and not want to know what else is in the room to investigate!
