I had my baby! (5 weeks early)

Hello all. My little guy decided he was ready to be an outside baby 5 weeks early.

Too make a long story short, (because I am exhausted and going to get some sleep)  I had bleeding again on Monday (due to placenta previa), went to the hospital and the doctor decided it was in the best interest of both my baby and myself to have a c section ASAP.  Needless to say, I was not prepared, but here he is.

Sean Patrick was born Monday 2/16 at 11:55am.  5 pounds 8 oz and 18.5 inches long.

He was doing well at first, but then began to have trouble breathing.  He is currently in the NICU on a C-PAP, and is getting stronger every day. I was discharged today, but will still be staying at the hospital while Sean is getting better.  The hope is he will be able to come home next week. 

The hospital has limited interent service, so updates from me will be sparse.  I just wanted to let everyone know we are both OK.  I am actually recovering very well and feel pretty good for having major surgery.

Please say some prayers for my little guy so he can come home soon!
