Travelocity now offers carbon offsets available for purchase. There's a little screen at the end of your reservation details where you can click to buy as many offsets as you would like to help diminish the negative environmental impacts of your trip. For just $11.xx, I was able to buy enough offsets to reverse DOUBLE the amount DH and I will use on our trip to SanFran next week.
YAY, Travelocity!
Re: Travelocity EF RAVE!!
::turns green with envy:: hehe
Seriously, Have FUN! I am in desperate need of a short babymoon... I will live vicariously through your travels!
Well, actually, it's very much a working trip. We'll fly over on Friday, I will work on Saturday all day, we drive to Sacramento on Saturday evening, stay the night, and come home on Monday. Ugh.
I just bought a flight for tomorrow through expedia.
I bought a carbon off set in the booking process.
It was easy, which is good as many people won?t go through the trouble.
They use the company terrapass. You can also get them directly from terrapass if your airline/travel site doesn't offer them. They have low flow shower heads and things like Flight offsets for a years travel as well.
terrapass.com
We have also purchased offsets through carbonneutral.com before the travel sites were offereing them. Glad they're catching on!
