Holy COW. I just called our phone company

to compare prices for services to Comcast, which is what we currently have.  It was so stinking complicated, seriously.

For 6 months, its this price.  And then after 6 months, its this price.  But then after a year, it goes up to this price.  BUT, if you downgrade this servie and chance this, its this price.

Seriously?  Can't it be less complicated and they still make money and we still save money?  I don't know if I can keep up with all these changes every 6 months, lol!

  • Oh, and we have vonage right now with our phone, and he said we can't keep our phone number because vonage isn't a "regulated" company.  :(  So sad.

  • We have Comcast and they are the WORST. Our internet service dies out a lot (they have issues with certain areas of town), and the rates change every 3/ 6 months because the *special* has ended.?

    Oh how I miss the simplicity of Bright House. Why oh why can't we live in a Bright House anymore?

    So sad.

    Anyways, I feel your pain. ?

  • Not to mention the fact that you can never get a straight answer about how much you will actually pay after taxes and such.  I remember signing up for a "$9.95" phone service that ended up being $25.00 a month after all the taxes and fees.  I hate utility companies.
