Yes, and I had a drink at both of them. My first shower had champagne punch and wine. My second shower just had wine. Obviously there was a variety of non alcoholic beverages as well.

I asked my hostesses to serve wine at mine (even offered to buy it). I think showers are so boring for a lot of people and I have a feeling that my guests will enjoy a glass or two.
We're having a co-ed shower, so I'm sure there will be lots of alcohol so the men aren't driven crazy. But I went to an all girl baby shower a few years ago, there was no alcohol.
I have only been to 1 shower that was coed and had beer. No other showers had any. Ours is at a club that my mom's fiance is part of and there'll be a cash bar there.
My first shower was alcohol free. My shower tomorrow most likely will have alcohol. My third shower will be after the baby comes and they better have mimosas for me!
The one my coworkers are throwing won't, but my family one would have. They're throwing a 'meet the baby' instead. It will be co-ed, and there will be wine, I'm sure. And I'll be joining in : )
Most I've been to have had some sort of lightly alcoholic punch, or mimosas, or something similar. Maybe it's a regional thing?
Mine was at a restaurant but I don't remember there being alcohol there (over 4 years ago at this point so I could be wrong, I can't remember what I did last week!).
My in-laws love to party and have a good time. Not only was there alcohol at our coed shower, but I kept having to send DH to find me water since the only beverages at the bar were booze, beer, and mixers. Needless to say everyone had a great time.
Re: Was alcohol served at your baby shower?
I've actually only been to one shower w/ booze and it was co-ed! I wouldn't have mind having it at mine...I def had it at my bridal shower!!!

I bet you that was Shelby's favorite drink, too.
Our showers are next weekend and then two weeks after that - there will be alcohol at both of them.
No alcohol served, and mine was co-ed, only in one of the games three of the guys had a race drinking beer from a baby bottle.
My mom wanted to make margaritas tho..

No, although I'm sure MIL would have liked it to have been . . . in my family we're not big drinkers, and so it just wasn't worth the money.
As a side note, I've never been to a baby shower where they served alcohol, because the guest of honor can't drink it.
Absolutely
