Babies on the Brain

My husband irks the crap out of me!

He can have a week to get ready to do something and he is still late at doing it.  He has been up since 8 and has known for 3 months Allie had a check-up today at 2.  He still is in his pjs and keeps telling me to give him more time.  Seriously, dude?  It takes 45 mins to get to her pedi.  It looks like we are going to go without him or be late AGAIN!  It annoys the sh!t out of me.

  • I dislike that, too. The other alternative is to bug him every 30 minutes for 2 hours and then at 10 minute incraments for the last 30. I hate being a nag.

  • Ah, I'm sorry. Will he at least feel guilty if you go without him?

  • Argh, that's the worst. Either you get to be a nag or you get to be late. No good choice!

Yep, but my DH would never call me a nag because he knows it's because of him that I am given no choice but to nag.  If he would just do things the first time I asked in a timely manner, I would stfu.

If it were only that easy.

He is now asleep.  It looks like, once again I get to take our child to the ped for shots alone.  FUN!  I am super annoyed to the point of crying.

Write him a note about how you feel and leave it for him to wake up to.  At least make him feel guilty about this.  It's not fair that you get to be the responsible parent all by yourself.

Oh, no! Don't cry. Then I'll cry.  I think we all feel your pain. I'm sorry.
