WTF? Sometimes these boards completely surprise me. I just don't get how making rude comments on a birth story is appropriate? ![]()

And for anyone that knows me from 3rd tri - everyone knows that I have never been judgemental to those that choose epi's or anything else along those lines. To each ther own! Why can't people just let others decide what's best for themselves - - it's not like I was choosing something that was putting my baby in danger. And no - I'm not a pain-addict. I hate pain!
Re: Negative comments to my Birth Story?
my angel babies: 6/10 (chem. pg), 9/10 @ 10 weeks
i second that...what a douche!
Don't listen to her. I think it's awesome someone can do it without pain meds. She can eff off.....what a douche.
I wouldn't worry about those comments. None of those posters have tickers or baby photos or anything following their posts.
I commend you for going natural! I want to, but I'm pretty sure that I will cave into the pain at some point.
maybe a douche was having a bad day.
Rude comments on birth stories should not exist!
Yeah that was dumb. Your story was great! Congratulations.

OMG I think that made me sick to my stomach by those comments i just read in your link. I'd like to find where she lives! lol. "Marymemyl"
That is absolutely ridiculous! Congrats on your new baby! Who cares what other people think. I love how people can just be rude and think they have the right to be...But maybe they do...They deserve a punch in the face!
Don't let her get to you. She is a well known nest-idiot. Here is a glimpse into what kind of person she is:
Her birth story:

How much she dislikes being a mother:

She is a world class cvnt, so her opinion really doesn't matter.
Oh! And she breast feeds her husband as part of foreplay!
Here you go... feel free to spray away.
It's a personal decision and shouldn't be judged by anyone whether or not they get it or don't. Just ignore idiot comments. You did what you felt was right and have no regrets and that is what matters. Congrats.
Oh and I looooove his name!
She is crazy, dont let her phase you. She posts a lot on the parenting board, and most everything she posts is an angry rant about the USA and how she is the only person in the entire world who knows the correct way to do anything and Americans are all idiots, although she lives in NYC.
Congrats on your new arrival and what sounds like a wonderful delivery.
Wow - she sounds like a good candidate for postpartum depression therapy... Sad.?
Thank you for linking these - this explains a lot!!!!!
Thanks ladies! It just completely took me by surprise that I would get negative comments to a birth story. Snark me on any other post, but not my birth story for heaven's sake!
I'm very proud of myself for being able to not have an epi with a pitocin induction and wanted my birth story to encourage those that wish for a "med-free" birth who might end up being induced that it can still be done to not get the epi. I don't want to say I went med-free/natural because I did get 2 rounds of the Staydol. I also don't think women who choose to get epi's are any less than I or visa versa or anything like that. I've always lived my life that "to each their own" as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else. I wish more people would have this outlook on life....and feel sorry for those that live such a judgemental life. It seems like too much work to be that judgemental on minor things in life.
Anyways - thanks again ladies - I hope all of you have wonderful birthing experiences also!
Ignore her. I loved your birth story. I really want to go natural, so I'm terrified of induction. Your story actually calmed me down a lot.
We all have our own reasons for wanting or not wanting an epi. I'm glad you made it through without, just like I'm also glad for those who want one and get it.
