DD has dry cheeks and knees. Pedi said to use ample amounts of lotion throughout the day. I use Aveeno Baby Unscented. He said if it gets worse, then we'll look into a cortisone cream. So far, I have noticed a huge improvement, especially on her face.
I love baby aquaphor ~ its VERY thick, but it works great! My little girl had dry patches on both eyebrows, so what I did was~gave her a bath and with a washcloth I gently rubbed where the dry skin was to remove any loose skin ~ then after her bath I applied a little aquaphor for about two days, and she doesn't have the dryness anymore!
This is going to sound weird I know, but for DS's flaky forehead patch i rubbed a little lanolin nipple cream stuff. I figured It's for skin cracking and chaffing and it worked great!
Re: Does your baby have dry skin?
My MIL (a Pedi) always recomends Eucerin.
