Need stroller rec's please

We are still using the travel system stroller and are in need of something smaller.  I would like something nice (not at $20 cheapo) and would prefer that it recline at least a little for when DS falls asleep

  • I haven't checked it out in person, but Chicco makes an umbrella stroller for about $50-60. that looks REALLY nice.  I planned to check it out at some point before our vacation.  It folds up really small and even comes with a bag to carry it in.

Now sure about the recline though.....like I said, I haven't checked it out in person, but it's on the BRU website.

  • I have the Bumbleride Flyer and it's awesome.  It reclines 1/2 way or all the way down.  You can move the handle so you can face your baby or he/she can face out.  We looked at about 10 different strollers and this one just had the best options.  Good luck!!
  • Hi. After a lot of research and pushing what seem like millions of strollers around, we got the Baby Jogger City Mini Single.

The one handed fold is amazing and it collapses very flat and small for our little trunk (we have a Prius). It has 150 degree recline and DD has slept in the stroller while we were on a walk. The shade on the stoller is huge! It really covers and blocks the sun well and has the ability for you to peep in as well. Also way for you to pull up a screen section to allow for a breeze to hit the stroller in case it gets too hot.

We love it! My best friend also has it and has to climb 4 flights of stairs with it in one hand and her baby in the other and it really works for her too!

  • We have that Chicco stroller the pp refered to.  We won't use it until summer, but it does seem nice, and easy to tote.  It has a velcro snap that lets out if you want to recline your DC a bit.

  • I recently recently went to BRU to buy a Maclaren and came out with a Peg Perego Aria. Its a full size stroller (cup holders, big basket, full recline, etc) but only 9 1/2 pounds. So far I love it for shopping, errands, travel etc but its not great on dirt or bumpy sidewalks, but i have another stroller for that purpose so its fine with me.

  • At albeebaby.com is a FP stroller that is the equivalent to Britax--Britax made the frame, FP the fabric (the instruction booklet states this as well);  I got it for $45 including delivery.  I love it.  It opens/closes w/one hand, has a good sized storage bin underneath, it's nicely padded, reclines, has 2 cup holders for me (one for DD), and a middle compartment on the handlebar thing that has a lid--great size too (can put keys, sunglasses, cell phone in there and still have room;  plus cuz it closes my stuff isn't out in the open)

One of my friends has this for her son, and it is a wonderful stroller. It doesn't recline, though, and the straps are a bit high. We would like to buy it for when DD is older because she just wouldn't fit in it right now - she's pretty small, though.

Oops! I must have missed that. Sorry!
