I WIN...worst pregnancy comment EVER!

Yesterday I was at a viewing for a family member. I was talking with a group of my aunts and uncles when a family "friend" came up to me and said...

"I don't understand why people think pregnancy is so beautiful. I don't think it's beautiful at all. The woman's body gets all FAT AND DISTORTED and I just don't see how that's beautiful. My wife gained 100lbs when she was pregnant with our first child and that was just DISGUSTING to me..." He kept rambling on and on and on until I finally said, "I can move accross the room since the sight of pregnant women disgusts you." and I left.

Later he tried to come over and apologize. His apology wasn't an "i'm sorry" though, it was a re-explanation about why he thinks pregnant women are disgusting. My DH finally just looked at him and said, "Man, maybe you should just stop. She's at her cousin's viewing and you are making her upset."

SERIOUSLY! WHO SAYS THAT TO A PREGNANT WOMAN AT A VIEWING!?!?!?!?!?!

Must be something about viewings and being brutally honest. I was at a viewing in Oct and I was barely showing and DH's friends GF was telling me how DH's friend thinks pregnancy is so gross and it freaks him out and how he hates being around preg people. Thanks
