Wearing mat. pants already

Nothing fit me this morning and my nice dress pants for work mostly have hooks so I cant do the rubber band trick. I am waiting on the bella band I ordered, so I busted out a pair of mat. pants I got on sale a few weeks ago and I am comfy. Oh well that I am only 10 weeks and already in maternity pants!

  • I was like that at like when I was about that far along then suddenly a couple days ago it just went away and I can wear my regular jeans.  I know that Ill pop soon and it wont go away...for months.
  • I started around then! I just don't care - it's about comfort :)
  • No shame in that, I have pulled mine out already, some days I can fit in my regular stuff other days I can't.  I was whining about my pants feeling tight the other day to DH and he said, "uh, whats the problem, pull out your maternity pants!"  It's so simple for men isn't it. :)
  • yeah....i never stopped wearing my maternity work pants after DS was born...

  • With my last pregnancy I was 100% in maternity pants at 10 weeks.  I'm getting them back out this weekend!

  • OMG, am I the only person on here considering maternity pants at five weeks? I'm kinda a small person (5ft, 125 lbs) but I swear I've already got a "bump" and none of my expensive work pants fit without the buttons digging into me. Would I be better off just buying larger sizes for now and waiting on the maternity pants? ::sigh::.........
  • I'm 4 weeks pregger and I busted out a pair my cousin gave me. I'm so bloated and my work pants don't fit me either, so like pp, no shame at all.?

I'm 5'1 and 120-125 lbs so I know how you feel. My legs are the 'long' part of me so my torso is so tiny. I used a bella band first then switched.

  • I wore my mat. jeans yesterday to class.  I was bloated and my reg. jeans basically have a hole in an inappropriate area so I figured why not.  They were uncomfortable though because I had a weird baggy crotch.  I did break out the bella band today.  Not bab, but I do feel like I'm adjusting alot.  With twins I'm afraid I'll be in mat. full time by the end of the first tri.
