Has this been posted over on the HP book board? I remember seeing a post somewhere (there? my local?) about who you were saddest to see die in the series, and this video reminded me of that:
(spoiler - don't watch video if you haven't read all the books and don't want something potentially ruined)

So sad - so many good characters!
Re: Harry Potter ladies
Aww!
::sniffles::
So sad.
Will watch later! I'm still unhappy about book 7 though. There was a lot there that annoyed me.

After 22 cycles and tube removal our IVF miracle has arrived! Detailed IF and IVF info in bio.
I read it through in 10 hours and I loved it at the time. It's as time has gone on that I've become discontented. Discovering fan fic has made it worse, because I've read fanfics that were written post-HBP/pre-DH that, honestly, I think were better.
I think she had giant glaring plotholes in the story, I think Voldemort was a weenie (more like a grumpy uncle than the worst dark wizard ever) (but I also understand they were written primarily for children and you don't want to get into horrible atrocities when your primary target audience is 10-12 years old), I was upset that Ginny was pretty much gone, and with a couple of the deaths involved.
I likewise thought the end - the Battle onward were superb. I still cry when I read about Harry's journey.
