I have a meeting in 45 mins.

It should be short and pointless and usually doesn't pertain to me at all.

I don't want to go. But part of me says to go so that my manager will see that I look like death and will encourage me to leave early.

Hmmmm.

I would go to the meeting and cough as much as possible, no one wants to catch the germs, they'll have to send you home!
