We were at the pedi last night for a double ear infection
Doc suggested that I give my DD triaminic right before bed if she seems stuffy and uncomfortable. I thought that I heard something recently about triaminic not being good for children. Do you or would you give your DC triaminic if needed?? TIA!!!

Re: Triaminic
Babies are not supposed to get any cough or cold medicine at all. I can't believe the Dr told you to do that.
ditto prev. posters. no cold meds at all. if you google, you'll find tons of articles. our pedi said only saline nose drops and baby vicks for their back chest and feet. also use a humidfier, and elevate the crib mattress at a 20 degree angle.
this is the same pedi me and my brothers had and she used to recommend benadryl for us. as the researchers find new things, drs should change, too.
