Both my kids have blue eyes and they both had dark blue eyes at birth. But, almost all babies have dark blue eyes at birth

DD's eyes were a dark gray at birth and have slowly lightened up to blue over her 9.5 months.

Blue at birth and still blue now. I'm surprised they haven't changed, but every single person in DH's entire family & extended family has blue eyes and my grandma has green eyes (but the rest of my family has brown) so I'm still waiting to see if they'll change. I heard up to 9-12m they can change but usually they'll stay the color they are once they reach that age.

at birth grey blue and they have gotten lighter and bluer since. I'm still not 100% convinced they are going to stay because neither my DH or I have blue eyes!

At 6 months pedi said they should stay blue. I have brown eye, DH has green...Kinda odd to me, but her eyes are so pretty!

Ditto. DD had little "shark eyes" when she was born. Now they are a beautiful light blue.

They were and still are very blue. That's not surprising, though, as ever single person on each side of our immediate families have blue eyes.

DD had a purpleish blue color when she was born now they are becoming a truer darkish blue. I have hazel eyes and my DH has blue. Also, my dad has blue eyes.
