I have heard of a lot of day cares that do use cloth diapers. I think you would have to inquire directly with the Day Care to confirm though. If they don't currently CD, they might start, especially if you are using all-in-ones and provide a wetbag to keep the dirty ones in. They are no more trouble than disposables.
Depends on the daycare! Some are starting to open their minds a bit, especially since so many people are using them now. It makes it really easy for them if you have AIOs or Pocket Diapers. Our Preschool is using cloth for my DS and they're super cool about it.
I'm going to tour some daycares, so I will ask today and post tonight what they say. ?I read on one of the websites that they dispose of all dirty diapers outside, so I think a place with that policy would be less willing to store dirty cloth diapers in a wetbag. ?

As pp mentioned you have to approach the individual centers about it. Many have found it helps to bring along samples of a pocket or AIO, so that they can see how easy it will be for them.
Ditto that it depends by day care and that you should bring in an AIO when you ask. My day care typically uses disposables, but they are glad to use CDs (even prefolds) if I bring them in. They just don't have enough demand for them to keep them stocked. Another daycare in our area exclusively CDs.

Re: Do daycares use cloth diapers?

Mine does- happily in fact.
I think it helps to take a diaper in when talking to daycares to show them that they're not the pins and plastic pants scary diapers of days gone by
Whoa, they're not? I thought they were the same thing....that's why I was planning on using disposable.

LOL, it's a good thing I'm having a boy, otherwise he'd be wearing polka-dotted diapers! These things are so cute!
