how to tell when you ovulated??

so i know it doesn't matter anymore because i am pregnant, but since i charted...it is killing me and i wanted to see what this would tell you if you were in my shoes....

So would you base ovulation on your cm or bbt's?? I had a lot of cm on 1/21, but then on 1/23 i was dry, BUT my temp dipped that morning (97.2) and from then on it just increased above 98 and my cm was thick and creamy.....

Would you say I ovulated on 1/21 since I had a lot of cm or on 1/23 since my temp dipped then increased from then on??

thanks....i know it really doesnt matter, but just curious since i did all this charting!!
