don't think you will be able to right after the baby.... now that i am fully engorged i can barely sleep on my side. no way i could lie down on these swollen painful melons! so, no stomach sleeping in my immediate future...

I can't wait to sleep on my belly again. I was able to when I was bf DD, so hopefully shouldn't be a problem this time. I just made sure I would feed or pump right before going to sleep.

I'm a stomach sleeper too and not sleeping that way is definitely the hardest part of pregnancy for me. I agree about the engorgement....then I read somewhere that sleeping on your stomach/breasts can negatively affect milk supply so I was too afraid to do it for like the first year + of my son's life because I didn't want to mess up BFing. Ugh.

i just broke out the pump... lets hope this works! his tummy is still way to small to finish all that ive got here.

Yeah, it took me awhile to be able to sleep on my stomach again. And once I did, I would wake up with lower back pain thanks to not being used to that sleep position anymore!
