OK, not a baby book but Jodi Picoult's "My Sister's Keeper" - OMG, I read it when I was pregnant, how dumb a move was that?? I bawled so hard, DH thought I was in labor. Smile

To Kill a Mockingbird. i weep openly at the end of the novel each and everytime. if i try to read that last two pages outloud to my students, i can't get through the first two sentences. i.love.that.book.

I can't read the Velveteen Rabbit out loud without choking up. It gets me every time. I also second Where the Red Fern grows and Bridge to Terabithia.

I remember reading that book in 4th grade and our teacher would read random chapters out loud to the class.

The chapter where the dog got stuck in the bush and all of his guts came out was so sad and she was bawling as she was trying to read it. It was so sad!

Wow -- I haven't thought about that book in years. I loved it, but would only read it while sitting by the lake alone at my Grandma's house -- I was embarrassed that it made me cry every time!
