What's on your 'To Do' list....

of things to do before baby gets here? i.e. pack labor bag, hospital tour...

    Mine is so long... YIKES.

    Finish wood floors, put together furniture, get bedding, pack bag, figure out birth plan.....

    OMG I haven't done a thing!  First thing I need to do is make a "To Do" list!  I figure I've still got time.

    ummm everything from figure out how we are painting the nursery, register, do BF classes, day care, etc. Wow Im tired now! haha

    Order pump parts, steam clean pack and play, find a backup to my backup babysitter for dd when I go into labor, pack hospital bag, pack bag for dd, make freezer dinners. ?I'm sure between now and then my list will get longer.

    Once we get back from our trip home this weekend I'm going to start working on stuff, but for now I haven't really done anything.

    • Finish sheetrock and painting in the nursery
    • Finish dining room addition
    • Organize the entire house and get rid of clutter to make room for baby stuff
    • Find a dog-sitter for when we are at the hospital
    • Pack hospital bag
    • Pre-register at the hospital
    • Birthing classes & hospital tour
    • Get health benefits and short-term disability paperwork ready

    A shorter list would be what's not on my list.

    My brother is coming to town to stay with us for a few days in late March. That will delay us in getting the spare room cleaned out. Our crib should be here March 2ish. I'm a little sad we won't be able to put it together right away. For now I'll focus on the rest of the house.

    This weekend we'll be cleaning out a kitchen cabinet to make room for baby stuff, hanging a cabinet in the garage for extra storage, organizing the spare bath to get more room for baby stuff, cleaning out our storage towers in the living room to make room for toys and what not... I know there is more on the list. Tongue Tied

    Everything is still on my list.  At this point, the only to-do's I am thinking about are remembering my drs appointments and shopping for cute clothes of course!

    list?  what list?  lol, i don't know i guess we have everything left to do.  we've narrowed it down to two names so i thought we were doing pretty well!  but we still have to purchase staples off of the registry, we won't be doing a nursery until we move which will probably be some time after the birth so don't have to worry about that right now, i registered for our classes but we still have to show up, i need to make sure i take care of everything hospital related (sign up for rooming in, preregister when the time comes).  i'm sure there's more...

    finish our master bathroom remodel

    start on and finish the nursery

    get all our closets organized

    do a labor and delivery tour at the hospital

    take a birthing class

    introduce our dogs to baby sounds/smells etc to get them used to it before the baby arrives

    Too long to list everything... finish cleaning out spare room, wash all walls, Prob paint the whole apartment, scrub all carpets, Buy baby stuff and get that set up, come up with guest list for shower (s), Come up with shower theme, make all the shower invites (although mom and MIL are throwing shower, I like to make my own invites, just something I do), wash all baby clothes, get closet organizer installed, Get the boxes that won't fit in stoage unit to MIL's for storage, Finish medical transcription class... So basicly I have NOTHING done...
