So, 2 hours after my dinner which was lower carb than it could have been...I'm at a 94. And I'm debating a bowl of rice cereal, since I didnt' take my gly with my dinner....I might be able to pull it off. Hrmmmm......

You could do as I do when I cheat for my late snack and eat a protein (usually a tablespoon of peanut butter) right before bed when I take my glyburide...my fasting numbers are usually in the 85-90 range. (My numbers are typically 80-85 if I don't "cheat".)
A once and a while cheat is not going to hurt much... believe me... I pigged out on chocolate cake at a wedding just after I got diagnosed with gd when I was pregnant... I was induced at 39 week, and had a very healthy 7lb baby boy.... Even the nutritionist said not everyday is going to be perfect... Good luck ladies!

i totally justify dessert this way
yesterday i went out for ice cream with a friend. after walking around for about an hour my # was only 83. i thought "hell yea" and ate some chocolate
