Question for clomid users

How many ultrasounds did you have? I have one on CD12 planned, but not sure if there will be more. Also if you were doing TI, did you do a Trigger shot or just OPK's?

My first IUI cycle with clomid 100mg. I had 1 on cd 12 and was ready to go.. Last cycle I had 3 and then triggered..

For my TI and IUI/Clomid cycles I was only monitored once around CD12-14, triggered and then either BD or IUI. I think only once in all my Clomid cycles did I have more than one follicle by then.

Oh, and your other question. With TI we just did it when the OPKs told us to. IUI was the only cycles we used the trigger. But I guess you could use it for more precise timing...worth a shot at asking!

I had no ultrasound with the 1st two rounds.

I am on CD8 of the 3rd round. I took Clomid cd2-6 and have an ultrasound tomorrow (cd9).

I guess depending on what they see (or dont see) I may or may not have more?

I'm a slow responder, so last cycle I had three (day 12, day 15, and day 21 because I felt like something was going on in there and requested another one before I started provera) before I triggered and had an IUI.

This cycle, I've had one on day 12, and one today at day 15. I'm going to have another one on either day 17 or day 18- they are going to call me and let me know. I never seem to have more than one follicle though so I don't think Clomid does the trick for me.

I've only ever had one a cycle. Right now, we're just doing TI and OPK's, but my RE is concerned that I never seem to catch a + on the OPK's, so we might be moving to trigger soon.

I only had 1 on CD 14 and then triggered 2 days later

This cycle I only had one ultrasound - before my IUI - but if the follies are still small when I go in for the first one then sometimes I get a second one - just to make sure the timing is right. I use a Trigger shot with my IUI's.

I have usually have 3 u/s and the trigger shot so they make sure I ovulate.

Last cycle I had two ultrasounds (3 days after last pill and two days after that) and this cycle will be the same. When we were doing TI, I was given the trigger in the morning then told to BD that night and the following three mornings. Good luck to you!

I had 2 one on CD 4 and one on CD10. They were going to do another, but decided against it. I just used OPKS, but I found it confusing - we use the CBEFM usually and that said peak, but didn't agree with the OPK _ I wish we just had a trigger.

I had 4 ultrasounds. I believe my first one was on cd 11 and then I had 2 more to check the growth of my follicles. I ended up triggering on cd 19 and then had TI. I went back for my 4th ultrasound on cd 21 to check if I had ovulated and sure enough, I did!

I just finished my first clomid cycle, I had 5 ultrasounds starting on CD3 and ending CD15 when i did take a trigger shot, i did IUI though and not TI.

I'm on my first cycle with Clomid (CD5-10), had one u/s on CD 18 and another to be done on CD20 if still no + on OPK (I usually O on CD20). If all looks ok on u/s then RE will inject me with hCG to force O.

i was on femara, not clomid, but it's the same idea...

i think the # of u/s really depends on where you happen to catch your follies. my 1st cycle i had 2 u/s b/c i was late to respond and my follie wasn't large enough on the 1st visit. my current cycle i had 2 u/s but just 1 on CD2 to make sure i didn't have any cysts and then 1 u/s on CD13 - my follie was ready to trigger so i didn't have to come back again. we are doing TI and still triggered to make sure that i really O and to help with timing. last cycle we did not trigger and didn't use OPKs either... once the follie was large enough, she told us which days to BD on
