your own bed pillow and a boppy type nursing pillow to the hospital?

Re: Are you bringing...

  • I'm bringing my own pillow. A friend suggested making sure it's in a brightly colored pillow case (or at least not a white one) so you don't forget it at the hospital. = )

  • I am bringing my own pillow.  The hospital pillows are so flat.  My pillow will be in a bright orange pillowcase so that the hospital doesn't think it is there's and DH can grab the correct one to take home.

  • I brought my Boppy. I left it in the car until after the birth. I did use it, but it wasn't a necessity. They had Boppies there as well.

I was fine with the hospital pillow. I'd rather my pillow not be in a hospital for any length of time. ;)?

  • I'm taking my own pillow for sure

  • I did with DS. I won't with this baby. They were in the way and I ended up making DH take them back home after a few hours.

The hospt. provided PLENTY of pillows so I never felt like I needed more.

  • I'll be bringing the boppy, but I haven't decided on my own pillow yet.
  • I'm using the brest friend pillow instead of boppy, so I'll bring that. And I won't bring my own pillow, it's just more clutter.

  • absoulutly, my birthiing class instructor said that it is good to bring the nursing pillow for sure, but also a personal pillow from home so you can have something that reminds you of home to ease stress you may have the day of delivery
  • I plan on bringing my pillow with me.  I recently got some new firm pillows for side-sleeping and they work wonders for me.  I want to be as comfortable as possible.
