I wasn't, but DH was a boy scout. He still has one of his old shirts with all his badges and stuff - I think it's cute that he kept it all these years.

started in daisys and went up to junior girl scouts then it stopped being cool and everyone quit...
dh was a boy scout too and kept his uniform, when we were packing found some notebook they used to fill out when earning a badge and in his cute little kid handwriting was a whole paragraph about how he would help his mom with his baby brother, soooooo cute!
I was a mini-scout in Kindergarten (mom still has the pink/white gingham dress with white apron).
then I was a brownie in 1st grade.
I quit after that to get more serious with gymnastic training.

Daisy through Junior -- my mom was our troop leader, so I always got to choose what we'd be doing every meeting.
She also would let me go to the Girl Scout place and pick out what badges looked cool, then she'd buy them in advance for me and let me earn them on my own, but no one else in the troop ever got to earn those badges. I did earn them though.
Yeah, I was spoiled.

I was a brownie and then a girl scout thru the sixth grade. ?My Mom was a leader for a few years so I got to pick things that we did, too.
My husband wanted to be a cub scout so bad because he thought the uniforms were SO cool. ?When he was at his older cousin's house (and too young to be a cub scout) he would steal his cousin's uniform, run in the bathroom and try it on! ?(now for some reason when I type it out, it sounds creepy, it usually sounds funny!)?
