we found a daybed at ikea that we plan to get for marlee. ?the bedding i like has a definite head end and foot end...would that look odd on a daybed? ?i can't decide.

we have a small house, and this is great b/c it expands to a queen size, so we could use it for guests (and mj can camp w/ us). ?the storage drawers are another plus. ?we really need multi-function!

i thought it was sweet...and cheap! ?i was going to have a quilt made, but it's so pricey. ?i haven't settled on it or anything, i'm just finding that lots of things i see have top and bottom ends.?

I'm confused by what you mean exactly......like you can tell the comforter has a top and bottom because of the way it's stitched or because of the pattern?
We are putting a daybed in our guest room. The bedding I'm getting pretty much looks the same all around though (black and white paisley print) and I'm just planning on making throw pillows to go all around the bed so you can't really tell what the top and bottom is. Ours will only be used a few nights a month though, so might be a little more of a a paint to replace all the throw pillows every morning.
I think it would be fine, especially if you added throw pillows around the bed. I'm a total pillow slut, though, so this is totally biased. But I think that if you found a patterned white bolster to go at the foot, you might get it looking more balanced.
