total silence and concentration. It is wonderful and so helpful in avoiding the dinner crankies. I don't know if Addie is the only one, but around dinner time she starts being under foot and very cranky. this is a lifesaver

Thanks for posting this. ?I love this trick but DH hates it. ?He can't stand the mess. ?I made him read this to see that I'm not the only one who thinks it's a great idea. ?When I'm trying to make dinner or do the dishes and Orion wants constant attention I set him up at the sink. ?He loves pouring water from one bowl into another.

Yep, Kaitlyn LOVES when Mommy cooks b/c she gets to play. (My MIL won't let her) I'm with you, if it will keep her entertained instead of underfoot and cranky, I'm all for it!
