DH can't figure out the CDs

He is 100% on board with CDing and tries tries tries to do his share of the washing, etc. We pre-load the pocket diapers, but he just can't seem to figure out what to put inside them. Every diaper gets one regular microfiber insert + one hemp doubler. Except we don't have enough hemp doublers, so when we run otu of those, we have to use the microfiber doublers.

On top of that, we have NINE different kinds of pockets and AIOs, and he can't keep them straight. Today I found a BG OS 3.0 with 2 doublers inside (of course, I didn't realize it until it was completely soaked through. I also found a FB with 2 full-sized inserts (too bulky to wear) and another diaper with 2 microfiber doublers and one hemp doubler. I found the HH insert in a BG (along with another full-size insert). ugh.

I'd love to be able to sell off the ones that aren't working well and just get one kind so it would be easy to keep straight, but I don't think we have the $$.

Is there anything I can do besides making a giant chart with pictures? I definitely don't want to discourage him from doing it at all, you know?

Could you color code your diaps and doublers? ?BG = red, FB = blue, etc, and put a little Sharpie mark inside each one? ?Or could you make a diagram he could follow with an outline of each doubler and where it should go, and with what?

If neither of those, maybe you could be the one to sort the laundry and make piles of things that go together, and he can stuff them (each pile has a dipe, the right inserts/doublers, etc).?

I just started teaching DH how to stuff our pockets and he gets confused. I just figure I can do it myself and he can help out sometimes, but I'm the primary diaper stuffer :-)
