  ha ha. you crack me up! Actually I have thought about this too. We will have 2 pails because I plan on having a changing table in both rooms. That way if one is napping, I won't bother the other. Because we all know they won't be napping at the same time! ha ha.

  Yep, we have two, one in each room (both Diaper Champs). I got the 2nd one off craigslist for cheap (sounds gross, but it was perfectly clean). At the beginning especially we changed so many diapers when the other one was sleeping and wouldn't have wanted to walk into their room to use their pail. I'm honestly not a big fan of Diaper Champs but didn't want to worry about the special bags for the Genies and don't have a better option. I'm WAY too lazy to walk every dirty diaper outside to the trash.

  Thank goodness, I was starting to think I was crazy to think about having two pails, but Justin won't be out of diapers soon enough for me not to have to worry about it.  I never even thought of the nap thing and that's an even better point!

  we don't put Ryan's poopie diapers in the diaper champ anymore because they smell so bad. So we have a collection of plastic grocery bags in her room for the poopie ones then they go out the front door on to the porch. I too am too lazy to walk it to the garbage can! It is too cold out there! ha ha. Usually DH will walk them to the can every night or in the morning on his way out the door.

  Umm, neither   We do have one diaper champ in Mason's room, but we don't use it.  We prefer that the dirty ones go straight out to the trashcan in the garage.   We've just always done that with Mason, so I don't see any reason we will change with baby #2.

  When we were using disposables, I never even kept a diaper pail in the house. Everyone house I'd ever been in with babies smelled funny from it, so the thought just grosses me out. We kept a stash of plastic bags in the closet, tossed the diaper in it and tossed it out our slider. When DH would get home from work, he'd toss the baggies into the trash. (Only for #2 diapers). For #1s we just threw it in the regular trash.

  We're using cloth now and I plan on only keeping my one diaper pail in the basement. Just like we've done with our son. The exercise is good for me.

  I have two diaper genies that I never used. They are in my garage and are a bit dusty. My inlaws got them for DH before SD was born - garage sale finds. I also have a thing of the bags that go in them. they are free to a good home - email me at divacurve@yahoo.com

  FWIW, we also just use those plastic grocery bags.  Every time Brandon poops, we wrap up the bag and take it downstairs.  Our trash can is in our garage so we don't have to go outside.  We thought about a diaper genie, but honestly this works for us.
