Over a 45 minute lunch, we discussed (this is not a complete list):
nursery decor, baby's name, round ligament pain, not being able to drink, gestational diabetes, baby's position, baby's kicking, best hospital around here for delivering, baby clothes, 2 baby showers coming up, other pregnant women, other women who've had babies this year, and how many kids will be in impending child's class thanks to our local 2008-2009 baby boom
How many of those issues pertain to me, you ask? Exactly.
She did ask me if I was going to go back to the fertility specialist 100 miles away or just stick w/ my OBGYN for a while, so yeah, we talked about my being infertile too. Fun.
The highlight of the lunch, however, was this exchange while discussing my IF issues:
Me: "Yeah, since we have to wait a couple months not using any drugs, then I'll probably just do 2-3 more months on Clomid only, if nothing happens in 6-8 months, I'll probably have to go on and go back to the RE 100 miles away to move forward with things."
She: "Oh! 6-8 months isn't that bad. It will FLY by. My pregnancy has gone so fast. I can't believe I'm only 8 weeks from my due date."
I'm going to go punch something now.
