Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Holy Moly

I just started making a list for Wyatt's 1st Birtday party and OMG at the number of people. Keep in mind DH's mom is 1 of 14 and my dad is 1 of 13. We are having one party instead of 2 or 3 separate ones. I have 23 kids and 45 adults listed so far. And I haven't even let DH see it yet. To me that is too many people but he will say that people's feelings will get hurt and yada yada. I forsee me having a nervous breakdown that day. Any Advice, similar experience???

Re: Holy Moly

  • No advice, but I'm in a similar boat. Our guest list is currently at 62 people and we were planning on having it at my parents' house. They don't have a tiny house, but it's not huge, either. If it rains and the overflow can't go outside, we're screwed.

  • I don't even want to think about her guest list but it's probably going to be pretty long.  More than half won't make it though.

We're having his party on Memorial Day weekend, so I'm counting on some people not being able to make it. At least I'm hoping...

  • Wyatt's party is Memorial Day weekend too. If 1/2 don't come that is still a good bit.
