My best friend just called and said "So, I have some news I have known for a while but haven't wanted to tell you - I'm pregnant" Talk about making me feel like crap. It looks like I have officially moved into the "friend everyone feels sorry for" camp.

Thanks short! I have my ultrasound schedule for next Saturday - so, if everything looks good, we should be doing the IUI next Sunday. I am excited!

hey there - congratulations to your friend but I completely understand how you are feeling. my sil & bil called the other day to let us know they are having a boy, dh and I were both pretty glum and resorted to fast food for cheering up before we could muster up enough faux excitement to call and congratulate them. it's not that you're not happy for them but it's just hard when you're not there yet. best of luck with your upcoming iui, here's hoping you'll be calling your friend with the good news soon!
