Cable Company Bastards

I take care of all the bills and normally I am quite good at it.  However, when we are cycling, sometimes stuff falls through the cracks.  I am distracted.  I have a hard time concentrating.  So, I missed paying the Jan cable bill.  I actually wrote it down in the check book, I forgot the important part where you click pay on bill pay.  I noticed this on Sunday when I was doing the bills and scheduled a payment for 2 months worth for Friday (well before the new bill was due).  DH just got a phone call saying that they were going to turn off our cable if they didn't receive a payment today.  WTF?  I missed 1 payment.  Dude.

    They suck ass.  How ridiculous.

    I am currently at home waiting on them not to show again.  I refused to pay this bill until they fixed their mistake.  Since I might be cancelling the service tomorrow anyway.

    I thought the cable company sucked until we moved and dh made us get satelite which is bundled with our phone and internet and billed through our phone company.  now the phone company double and sometimes triple bills us, I have to examine every bill.  last month they shut our services off "by accident."  I never thought I'd miss cable but....  Super Angry
