We have decided on the name Charlotte Grace, with Elisabeth Grace or Grace Katherine as backups in case she comes out and we decide she's not a Charlotte. However, I recently have become obsessed with the name Tess (not Tessa, just Tess). I find it to be simple and cute, and also like the way Ava and Tess go together. WDYT?
Re: Another random name question--I have a new one that I love!
Before I read your comment, I was going to say that I think it was a dogs name in something. I can't, for the life of me, remember where it was though.
I'm not fond of the name at all though, but that's because I relate it to a girl that I know that was a complete and total snob.
I love Tess. It would have been on our list, but my mom's cousin is named Tess. Her real name is Theresa, in case you like that more than Tessa.
The only issue I had with the name was that Tess on its own, to me, was just a nickname and I wasn't keen on Tessa, either.
Tess and Ava are adorable together.
We love Tessa hence it being our daughters name
Ava sounds great with it!!!
I have a friend named Tess... not short for anything. She is gorgeous and the name fits her so well. I love it!
FWIW, my husbands name is Max. THE most popular dog's name EVER. But it's still an awesome name and fits him perfectly. No one ever reminds him of it...
I have a family member with that name and always thought it was beautiful.
I love that name. I have for ages. First time I heard it was in the movie *** Tracy (the girlfriend was Tess Trueheart, I think). There is also Tess of D'Ubervilles (sp?), a movie, and one of my favorite Chick Lit book The Jewels of Tessa Kent.
Don't know of any dogs though, although considering one of my other favorite names is Marley....

Good point-- our dog's name is Lindsey, and with the exception of a Peanut, all our friends' dogs have people names-- Abby, Josie, etc. So I don't necessarily categorize names by whether or not I know pets with those names!
