by getting a donut! Tasty!! : P Apparently someone brought in donuts this morning and I completely missed it! So walking back to my desk (coming back from lunch) I see the box and they are still fresh smelling and super soft. So took one and everyone around was like "wow - she's eating a donut" "baby must want one" etc. I've never had so many people pay attention to what I eat before!! So while I had everyone's attention, I said "and I'd just like to say, please don't be surprised when I got back for a second one...really." It was the tastiest donut I've ever had and I really am going back for a second!!! ::nom nom nom::
Re: I started commotion in the office....
It seems watching pregnant ladies is a hobby for some people...it's like national geographic I guess, lol.
Hehe - isn't it funny how people all of a sudden are interested in what you eat? I have eaten oatmeal at my desk nearly every morning for the last two years, but no one noticed until last week and now everyone thinks it's a "pregnancy thing." I wonder if they'll notice that I keep eating it after the baby?..
Yum, donuts! Mmmm... I almost bought one last night on an emergency dog food run - even though I knew DH had dinner waiting and home was only two minutes away!
Haha! So true!
Re: PP who made the National Geographic comment! ROFLMAO!
I just had this image of all your coworkers in khaki jackets and safari hats with butterfly nets and binoculars hanging over your cubicle whispering about the eating habits of the pregnant office worker.
Iiterally laughed out loud at that one!! ...mind you I'm still at work ; )
But they have to be whispering in an Australian accent
hehehe
Oh - DH watches these shows all the time. Now I'm always going to laugh when they are on!
Precisely, Australian accents, but stage whispering, where they are whispering, but it's still really loud and you can totally hear them:
" Today we are observing the feeding habits of the pregnant office worker"
"Note that she is on her second donut of the afternoon, many experts maintain that the pregnant office worker must satisfy her cravings or succumb to a rare but dangerous condition known as "the crankies" "
