Hello. I want to give CD a go, and plan to be home for about 3 1/2 months after the baby's born. I've found a couple daycares we like for when I go back to work, but didn't broach the subject of cloth with them because I noticed all the babies had disposables in their storage area. Has anyone had any luck getting a daycare to work with you on this issue or is it worth bringing up? I guess if it's not possible I can still CD at night and on weekends. Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated.

If you're going to ask daycare to use cloth, I highly suggest asking in person, diaper in hand. ?I came prepared when I asked our provider (a center) because we had used disposables with J there, but wanted to use cloth with C so I was prepared for them to resist. ?I was pleasantly surprised - they said yes right away and were impressed with the dipes I brought (BG 3.0's and HH OS). ?
I take enough diapers for one day in a wetbag (I have two) that they hang on a hook out of reach of the little ones. ?They stack the CD's in C's area just like they do with the disposables. ?As they change C, they just toss the diaper into the wetbag (sometimes they dump the poo first, sometimes not) and I take the whole thing home at the end of the day (the wetbag zips shut). ?
I have enough pocket, velcro diapers (I found they preferred velcro to snaps) for two days so I do laundry at the end of every second day.
I only have C in daycare 3 days a week now, but for the first couple of months he was there full time. ?I found the whole process (laundry, stuffing the diapers for the next day, etc.) to be very doable even when working full time.?
I think it is worth bringing up to daycare and I wish you luck!?

Sounds like being prepared is key, and you make a good point about asking in person with the diaper in hand, so they don't think it's still 1950 and all cds require pins. Thanks for the tips!
Ask. The daycare the we will be using will gladly use them if we provide them.
However, they won't use glass bottles
When we start, I'm going to bring one with the silicone covers and see if they will consider it.
