hi girls,

my name is kara and I'm new to the bump.  have been reading posts and wanted to join this supportive community as I've been in need of some encouragement lately.  finding conception a little trickier than I had expected and knowing I'm not alone in all of this will be a big help. looking forward to getting to know you and wish you all luck in your journey Smile

    I thought this was the mean, bitter b*tches board.  You know, the group for the women who like to kick puppies and flame innocent newbs who are just seeking support because they (the meanies) are so angry with their unsuccessful, unfulfilled lives, and because they are fat and because they were unpopular in high school.  Whoops, sorry ladies!

    just wanted to say hi, didn't mean to sound formal, just thought it was nicer than saying that not getting knocked up is driving me crazy! barb and dolores go way back, fictional trailer park queens to be exact. 

    as for my kind of unicorn, it seems I am a rainbow unicorn but I need to add the disclaimer that I am a rainbow unicorn who loves cheese.

     and the pups, donald & walter are cockerchons (cocker spaniel/bichon mix), puppy mill rescues who are extremely introverted.  we've had them about 5 months and slowly but surely they're coming out of their shells.

    mermaids are ok as long as they don't sing and enjoy a good cocktail from time to time.

    bacon is wonderful and only second to cheese. 

    (sidenote, they were handing out samples of chocolate covered bacon at whole foods last week, surprisingly magnificent!)

    Rainbow unis are welcome!

    I thought I detected some poodle in them, but must have been the bichon.  They look just like my 2 babies when their hair grows out.

     there's an apricot standard poodle in our obedience class and they don't groom him like a traditional poodle, he looks like a giant dread lock-y teddy bear and the 3 of them together look so much alike.  we just had them trimmed and they look more bichon-y.  I'm definitely missing the ragamuffin look!
