Invisalign fail

I got invisalign before my wedding, with he idea that I'd have straight teeth for the pics. I made it almost through the set of trays by the wedding (pretty straight for the pics), and then just lost the motivation. Now it's been almost 17 months since the wedding and my poor orthodontist is still dealing with me, and I've reverted back to the early trays. Lame.?

    Oh no! I did invsalign about 2 years ago. I had them for about a year and now I just have to wear my retainers at night. Speaking of which I need to call and get new retainers, mine have holes worn through them.

    Right. I'm just terrible about remembering to use them. I asked my dentist if all of his adult patients are less compliant than the kids, and he said, "No, about the same, but the adults feel badly about it."

    LOL So true. We paid cash for mine (well DH did) so he was on me to make sure I wore mine 24/7. I was really good about it (Mainly because if I left them out too long it HURT to put them back in)

    A great trick I learned is when you switch to a new set of trays, change them at night right before bed and take soem Tylenol PM, you will sleep through the worst of the pain.
