Zofran and/or HG Ladies...

[I posted this on 1st Tri but thought there are probably more of you beyond the terrible m/s over here...]

I have had to live off my Zofran (and Reglan) since about 6 weeks to battle my HG, but I *think* it is getting more manageable at this point and wanted to try to phase myself off the drugs. However, if I miss a dose by even an hour I get a terrible headache!

Has this happened to anyone? I put a call in to my OB to see if that's common or if there's anything we can do, but just thought I'd ask you guys as well. It may not be related to the Zofran at all, but its happened at least 3 times in the last few days, and taking the Z has helped the headache. Its odd.

    I have HG and its been tapering off a bit but I'm not on Zofran... just diclectin and gravol (here in canada, like dramamine).

    I would call the pharmacist - they know a LOT about meds and are easier reached than doctors.

    I had a similar problem.  I am still on zofran and reglan daily, and after my last hospital stay had compazine added to the mix. The headaches that I got were pretty bad, but I only got them for a little while.  Drinking more water when I could helped me.  Hopefully, your doctor or pharmacist will be able to make a good recommendation to help you out.
