  Got them at Michael's craft store.  They had about 5 different options, some already painted, some just wood and you paint.  Then I found some really nice foam letters that are colored and ended up using them.  The colors were perfect and they were lightweight so for the way I used them it was great. I'll try to post pics a little later....

  Got them done custom through Etsy. Amanda was WONDERFUL and is really terrific at picking out fabrics and colors based on your decor. You can also choose from different fonts and sizes FYI - it takes a few weeks to receive them though.

   I think for 6 8" tall, 1/4"-thick unpainted letters, it was around $26 before shipping. I haven't received them yet, so I can't comment on them.

  ditto except got mine at Michael's and attached rings to the back to hang them on nails instead of ribbon. cheap and easy!

  Ballard Designs - I wanted them big (b/c our nursery has vaulted ceilings) - I'm not doing the whole ribbon tying thing...we are just mounting them on the wall..

  I got cute ceramic letters at Michaels.  They come in pastel colors and already have holes drilled into them.  I just hung them on the wall with ribbon.  The letters were 1.50 each.

  the letters i am getting are made by tatutina (tatutina.com), but i am getting them at the toy store my cousin owns (i get a nice little discount)... i have posted a pic below (they also have primary color letters).
